Spring Workshop May 29-30-31 Friday to Sunday
Fall Workshop October 2-3-4 Friday to Sunday
Ronald Wilson has nearly 30 years of experience photographing the New England coast and beyond. A graduate of Massachusetts College of Art with a degree in painting, his interest in photography began when he purchased a 35mm camera in 1980, that was soon replaced by a 4x5 view camera.
From the beginning he maintained his own darkroom where he produced exhibition quality prints using the Cibachrome dye bleach process. He moved out of the darkroom in 2008 and into digital photography. For 6 years he has maintained a gallery/studio in Plymouth.
Bob Bergeron after graduating from the Rhode Island School of Photography, became a staff instructor at the Winona School of Professional Photography in Indiana. In 1984 he opened Tri-Color Imaging Lab in New Bedford, which has served photographers in 50 States for 30 years, with traditional, optical, hybrid and digital output.
Ronald Wilson and Bob Bergeron have led The Art of Landscape Photography Workshop for three years on Cape Cod under the sponsorship of the Cape Cod Art Association, and in September of last year held the workshop in Plymouth for the first time.
The Workshop will begin on Friday evening with an orientation and presentation of materials.
The Workshop will feature approximately 10 hours in the field with 3 hour sessions beginning each day an hour before sunrise and Saturday afternoon through sunset.
We will explore the South Shore from barrier beaches and salt marshes to woodland ponds and cranberry bogs. Workshops are designed for those interested in exploring and nurturing their creative vision.
Complimenting the field experience will be 6-8 hours of classroom time that will include individual instruction, viewing of images and group critiques to elevate results.
Cost: $275
Maximum 12 Photographers of all levels are welcome, from beginner to advanced
